On a whim, I just bought some KAM snap pliers and snaps because I want to convert my hook and loops to snaps. Anyone have experience with this? I am kind of crafty, am I going to be able to do this?
I came upon this when I was looking for instructions on how to convert my H&L bibs to snaps b/c they weren't sticking anymore. Maybe this will help you?
Make sure you have a good amount of time. It took me over an hour to do one.
That and make sure you have the proper snaps lined up. I was so bad about this with the two flip covers I converted and ended up messing up two of my snaps.
The only piece of advice I can give is to use the bigger size press for the "female" side of the snap and the smaller size one for the "male" side. You can't use the bigger one on the male side, because it would crush it. Although you *can* use the smaller size for the female side, it is a major pain to do it that way and will likely result in a lot of cursing (or is that just me).
