I should be glad we don't age out of speech services for free from our health region...he will continue to receive those as long as necessary. I just thought preK would go a long way to helping him catch up with his peers.

I guess we can see what the next year brings and apply when he's 4 if we want.

If you don't get in, try looking into homeschool activities so he can get the socialization. Also call around in your community. We found a 2x a week program (2hrs/day). It wasnt much, but it was something.

We did that from 2-5yo
