One appointment down one more to go.

Well I had my ob appointment this morning. I am glad I kept it even though my DH thought I should cancel it since I am seeing the specialist Friday. It wasn't planned to have two appointments in the same week. However like I said it was good I went. One of midwifes that is on my obs "team" was able to sit and talk with me about my concerns. She insured me that any issue with deformalities would of been seen on ultrasound at 17 weeks. She said she was happy with the report she received and label my pregnancy as NORMAL. I never heard that said to me before that I was having a normal pregnancy. She measured my belly (which I think she could of skipped bc now analyzing that too, silly pgal brain) it measure around 18 w and I am 19 tomorrow. She seemed happy with that. Riley's heartbeat was 160 though it took the nurse a bit to find it. Also when she did Riley would move or he kicked at the Doppler. I couldn't help but laugh considering I knew he was fine bc he was moving this morning after I ate. I also got to ask about our vacation we are taking and concerns with riding on the ski boat. Good news is that I can ride in it if we aren't going full force and bouncing. This made me happy! Overall one appointment down one more to go this week!

Yay for a great app and being labeled "normal"! I'm glad the MW gave you some reassurance about your a/s! And I wouldn't give a second thought to measuring 18w instead of 19. Fundal hight measurements are by no means an exact science. Lots of women measure "small" or "large" at times throughout their pregnancies and their babies are just fine.
