Trying to Get Pregnant

Queen+Adam Lambert

Did anyone watch the I Heart Radio live performance last night? Holy shit!!!! It was fucking awesome. Adam Lambert sounds just enough like Freddie Mercury and mostly himself to sound totally badass.

  • Well now I'm curious.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
  • I think Adam is a perfect match to play with Queen, I mean no one can replace Freddie, but Adam is the closest anyone can get IMO. Awesome!!

@gscoville: I think it's a shame that George Michael didn't take over the helm of Queen after Freddie's death. Don't you think that would have been awesome?

I wasn't able to view the complete iheartradio show, but I'm going to see if certain videos are posted on Vevo.

I'd never even thought of George Michael with Queen, interesting!

  • Ugh. I do not like Adam Lambert as the new voice for Queen. No way.

A girl/lady did a Queen cover during the London Olympics and blew AL out of the water (he had recently done a Queen performance for American Idol). If I think of it in a bit, I'll google and see who she was... it was amazing.

That said, no one, no one can replace Freddie. /gavel

  • Agreed that no one can take Freddie's place, but I also think Adam Lamber is the perfect second. I don't think George Michael has quite enough......spark? He's good, but not Freddie good. And I don't like the idea of a woman doing it at all. While I'm sure she did a great job it's just not the same. But I would be interested to hear it. Adam totally killed it though. I am not into his music but as a singer and a performer he is amazing and I think Freddie would be proud.

@catmagick: I can see what you mean about George Michael and spark. No one can replicate Freddie's passion.

Here is the video I was thinking of from a Freddie Mercury tribute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvM2Cmi-YRU
