How long have you been trying for a sibling? 9 months.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm dying today from lack of sleep.  My temp this morning was really high but I don't even think I got 3 hours total of rest.  Otherwise I'd be boarding the crazy train.  

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads? MH's birthday was Saturday so we did a family get together on a pontoon and enjoyed the beautiful weather.  Sunday we just hung out with LO and did as little as possible.

How long have you been trying for a sibling? 3rd month 2nd cycle

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: 7dpo so just waiting to test. So many symptoms, obviously it could go either way.

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day? What did you do for the dads? We didn't really do anything special. Just let H sleep in and made him breakfast.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: with #1 we got pregnant first try, so I'm irrationally annoyed that it didn't happen again. 

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads? Mellow Fathers Day, went to breakfast, played in the yard. watched basketball.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks:  DD woke up at 2am yesterday and decided she was up for the day.

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads? Baked cookies and stayed in jammies all day.

@ollieinca‌ we also got very lucky with DS and conceived first cycle. I was disappointed it didn't happen as quickly this time!

glad it's not just me. I know it's irrational, but it's annoying at the same time.  This is probably the only place on this board I could say that, without getting some negative reaction. But yeah.... it is what it is. I'm currently on cycle day 18, should be o-ing any day now and hoping this is our month~

How long have you been trying for a sibling?  this is our 3rd month/cycle

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks:   Only on day CD4 and I tend to be on AF until CD9 or 10 so mostly, I'm just annoyed. I hate that I have long periods. My cycles are fairly normal, 30-36 days, usually 33/34. I just bleed for a long time. I'm really, really hoping that I O fairly early as we will be gone over the 4th and probably sleeping on someone's living room. I don't want to miss a month but am also not going to DTD on someone's floor with DD sleeping in her PNP right behind out heads. lol

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads?   Lumberjack competition. DH didn't do as well as he normally does so not the greatest day. This comp is always on Father's Day so we never do anything overly special. He does get to choose the dinner on the way home.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks:  DS was conceived 1st cycle too - so I know exactly what you ladies mean.  And add to that a CP this month just to add more crappy feelings to this whole thing.

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads?  Father's day was ok.  With the CP I was not feeling very chipper but managed to pull together a nice dinner Saturday and brunch Sunday that also included my FIL and MIL.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm just glad my body didn't take months to get back to ovulating. I will take CD26.

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day? What did you do for the dads? I made DH French toady with thick bacon. Then we went hiking & grabbed a yummy deli lunch. He wanted Thai for dinner so that was delicious too.

Age of LO(s): almost 11 months!

How long have you been trying for a sibling? This is our third cycle. 

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: Just at the most boring part of the cycle. I still have 2 weeks before I even O. We've been really busy lately with vacations and things, but now we're at a little lull and I don't have much on the horizon so it just feels like a very long few weeks are ahead. 

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads?

It was ok. We didn't do much, just went to Ikea, upgraded to a king size bed which DH has been wanting to do for a while, so that's fun.

How long have you been trying for a sibling? 22 months

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: Mixed emotions right now.  We have started Clomid and my RE is only letting me go 4 cycles on it (which I'm okay with) - if still not pregnant my next option is IVF - which apparently no one does locally.  I'm trying to not get ahead of myself and stress out but I can't help it.  I'll have to drive 2.5 hours for that process and I'm not sure if I'm financially and mentally okay with that.  So fingers crossed Clomid does that trick

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads?  I had DD draw with sharpies on a bowl for DH - he has a salmon colored bowl that I hate to keep his keys and stuff in so I figured I'd replace it - I thought it was a Pinterest fail but luckily, he loved it!  I also got him a GC for a massage.

@ollieinca and @Bee1112: I know exactly how you feel. We conceived in our third month last time (and first charting). Such luck. So I had this competitive feeling (with myself) that we should conceive by three months. Grrr.

Age of LO: 16 months

How long have you been trying for a sibling? Three months after PPP. My cycles are just now regulating.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: DH is gone for a week during my FW, so I don't think this month will work out unless I ovulate on CD19 (which I doubt). 

GTKY: DH left for his trip on Father's Day, so I just said "Happy Father's Day." He didn't expect anything. Next year I'll involve DS with preparing a meaningful gift.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: just waiting on af 12dpo now, she should show on Friday... then onward we go.  I'd be blown away with a + this month as we only had sex once during fertile days

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day? What did you do for the dads? I got my dh a card... we did have a good day, we went to church with our lo and my older boys came over in the afternoon, we hung out and enjoyed the day!

I'm similar.  Really, we got lucky the first time.  We weren't expecting to get pregnant right away and we did.  So this time around, even though I had even less expectations of getting pregnant first time around, I was still disappointed.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks:  Last month my temps were all over the place, and this month I'm having a very late ovulation.  It's a little frustrating that my charts were more consistent until we actually started TFAS.

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads?  DH had a fantastic father's day.  It was a little busy for me and ended up turning into a late night which I hate.  Sunday nights I want to be home! We greeted him with presents in the morning, took him out to breakfast, then went to beach.  We came home and he played with his presents until dinner when we headed out.

LOL!!! Except, I still have no where for that. The 4th is a full day of competing then back to a friend's house for a BBQ. 3hrs from home, not an area I really know, and they live really downtown. No secluded place. Although, we never "christened" the van. hahahaha

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: It seems like the minute my daughter turned two, the "terrible twos" kicked in. She is seriously driving me bonkers! Not to mention, H is away for work for the entire week. Mad respect for all those single parents out there!

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day? What did you do for the dads? We didn't get up to much. Let H sleep in/nap. I'm not super close with my dad so he got the token phone call.

Yup. DD did the same thing. I even worked as an infant/toddler teacher for years and I still wasn't prepared. DH is home until he isn't. The nature of his job is that if the power goes out, he could be gone until it's back. If there is a big storm, like hurricane, he can be shipped out of state for weeks. I definitely gained some major respect for single parents over Hurricane Sandy and this past Christmas when we had an ice storm. Christmas was a week late here.

Two weeks is the longest he's ever been gone but DD was still small so it wasn't too bad. These past couple days have been absolute chaos!

@klax4 - Hurricane Sandy was a 16 days gone. During that time, DD cut her first tooth. Miserable time. She just got her last two molars a couple weeks ago. What is it about teething that turn our kids into little monsters? She didn't nap for a week and was grumpy all the time on top of regular two things.

@klax4 - Oh, it was here for sure. Once the teeth came through, she went back to napping. I'm a bit of an introvert in that I need time to myself and a bit of quiet to recharge. So it made that week even harder. She isn't one to play/read quietly in her crib if she doesn't sleep.

Hopefully it is just teeth for you too and life gets normal again soon.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: Surprisingly nothing. In the past cycles, I have had every symptom under the sun after ovulation, but nothing this time around. Weird. My body definitely likes to keep me on my toes. It's really annoying actually. But whatever. I have a lot going on so i'm a little stressed and it's nice not to have any symptoms to put up with right now. I guess we'll see in a few days. 

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads? My husband was actually at the shooting range for most of Father's Day. Back in March he had to go to Korea for some training with the Marines and missed the pistol range, so he had to make it up. And that meant Father's Day. Stupid timing. But after he got home, we gave him his present, went on a walk, ordered pizza (he wanted pizza), and went to bed early.

How long have you been trying for a sibling? We were planning to start in July, but we actually started this cycle.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm 7 DPO and trying to wait for AF no show before testing. Kinda wish we had better timing this month so I'm preparing to be disappointed.
GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads? Father's Day was great. DH and I had both sets of our parents over after church for a big grilled chicken dinner.

Age of LO(s):  12 months!

How long have you been trying for a sibling?  Second cycle post-loss.  NTNP for a few months pre-loss. 

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks:  It has sunk in that we wont have a sibling quite as close in age as I had "planned".   It makes me kind of sad.  I had a BFN this morning at 10 dpo, so I am pretty sure I am out this cycle.  I won't be testing again unless AF dosen't show up when I expect it to.  Getting pregnant with L was so easy, but not this time around.  

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads?    Yes!  Since L was such a newbie last Father's Day, this was his first "real" one.  We worked on the 1950 in the morning, went to the pool, and then bbq'ed some steaks.  L got him a new shirt, some little things he needed, and a new wallet.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: Woke up with a nasty cold this morning, and I feel like a idiot because im walking around with my mouth open, since I can't breathe out of my nose!

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads? Father's Day was fine I called my dad and wished him a Happy Father's Day. Then DD and I gave DH his cards from us. We had a chill day and then DH had to go to work at 5pm.

11 cycles post BC but only 6 trying.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks:

I'm very frustrated with the number of cycles off BC versus the number we have actually been able to try. H is out of the country a lot for work...always in my FW and last Fall we had a ton of obstacles thrown at us so it wasn't possible. I just wish it was as easy as it was when we conceived C!!

I made H a nice breakfast and then C and I each gave him a card (I traced C's handprint in her card to Daddy). He also got a renewal for a magazine he really likes and a framed photo of C to add to his collection at work. He got the chance to go to his rehearsal space to play his drums and while he was gone C and I made him a cake and then I made him his favourite dinner that night. I think we gave him a pretty nice day!

How long have you been trying for a sibling? Well, I've been wanting to try for the last 2 years or so but we started actively TTC this month.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I feel like I've been waiting forever, even though we only started TTC this month. Ridiculous, I know.

GTKY (I suck at these): Uh, did you have a good Father's day?  What did you do for the dads? My dad and brother and my DH and his dad went on a camping/canoe trip together! They had a blast and came back with some HI-larious stories.
