Migraine or pre e?

Lete begin by saying I have a call in to my dr. I'm just waiting on them to call back.

I've been having migraine symptoms off and on for a while now. I'm getting blurry vision, a dull constant headache, and some feelings of nausea occasionally. A trigger for migraines for me is lack of sleep, which is definitely happening now. But usually after a nap it clears up. All last night and again this morning though I am still having these symptoms. Problem is symptoms for pre e seem verrry similar to those for a migraine. I went to kroger to use their bp reader thing and it was 148/88. I don't know how accaccurate those things are or how bad that reading is though.

Anyone have similar PP symptoms or know anything about PP pre e?

    I'm not a doctor by any means, but I kinda thought you couldn't develop pre-e this long after having a baby. I imagine its much more likely just the stress and sleep deprivation. Hopefully you will hear back from your doc soon.

    Yeah @cnbean...it is rare, but not impossible. More and more I'm thinking it's migraines. I'm ready for them to end! I do have an appointment on Thursday just in case though!

    I am pretty sure that post partum pree happens shortly after giving birth.
    IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
    2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
    BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
    Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
    BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

    Plus, your BP isn't that high. The top number is slightly high but it is also affected by pain.
