Congrats, @maddscientist!!! H&H 9 months, and that would be an amazing birthday present!
Cycle/Month: 6
CD/DPO: 19/3
Timing: -3,-2,O
Testing Plans: Only 3 DPO, so going to hold out until next week at least.
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: Official CH from FF today! (O'd on Saturday.) Boobs/nipples are tender, usually doesn't happen this far out for me but I'm trying to stay off the crazy train this cycle. Key word is trying.
GTKY: how do you tend your lady garden? Do you wax, shave, trim or just let it go? Usually just trim. I can't bring myself to try waxing.

@Maddscientist, we might have to compare "safety" notes. I keep trying to google "autoclave fumes during pregnancy" and not getting much....I have a feeling my doctor might not be much more help with some of this stuff....
Ugh, I tried looking up a list of no-no chemicals and reagents on the EHSO (environmental health and safety office) website where I work, which is where this info should be. But, I couldn't find anything comprehensive or different than what I already knew. Luckily I don't work with too many hazardous chemicals. I think I will have to be fitted for a more regulated mask when I am doing my mouse surgeries (Formalin (formaldehyde) use) but I don't really wanna spread around that I am looking for this info now you know? I can totally let know what what I find out though - once I am at the point of sharing at work I will set up an appt to actually talk to someone about it.
I assume if it should be avoided, it would be listed on MSDSs of the chemicals I use, right? I'm careful always but never considered inhalants really.....like the autoclave fumes never occurred to me but in googling apparently a lot of common culture plastics release styrene and ethyl benzene which....probably aren't good? Let's keep each other posted!

What are you putting in the autoclave? What do you do for work and what setting?
Well I'm mostly concerned about the disposables (flasks, plates, tubes), not the cultures, since those are dead obviously. I do HIV research in a BL2.
ETA: I was just reading some more about letting it cool down completely before opening, to reduce exposure to the fumes. I could also convince a coworker to keep his mouth shut I bet. I'm only on duty less than once a month.
@Joy2611 I hadn't thought about it either until a pregnant coworker said she didn't autoclave anymore because of the fumes. I hadn't considered it. I don't plan to change my work, since we have safety guidelines in place, just looking for more information on the fumes that may (or may not?) be released. I hadn't thought of it and can't find anything definitive on the web.
HI Everyone - this is my first time doing this 2WW survey!
Cycle/Month: 1
CD/DPO: 23/9 EDIT: Entered wrong
Timing: -2 -1
Testing Plans: Friday Morning - we are going to a family party this weekend and people know me as the bartender. I better start coming up with a plan if I get a BFP
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: Tired and nauseous, slight headaches every single day - could be allergies, could be phantom symptoms.
GTKY: how do you tend your lady garden? Do you wax, shave, trim or just let it go? Trim
Can I ask a possibly TMI question here? I feel like it doesn't deserve it's own thread. If/when you get sore breasts/nipples what does it feel like for you? I have never had that as a symptom, so I always assumed it would feel raw or heavy. Right now I feel like I have a pimple or ingrown hair or splinter or something sharp, but there is no lump and I don't see anything. Wondering if I should call the doc for a bigger issue, or if this is a normal PMS/O symptom.
CD/DPO: CD30/3DPO <~ according to FF but I don't know how accurate it is because I had some EWCM about 4 days before this ,then a rise in temps around the same time and its been rising ever since. Only reason I'm unsure is because of the EWCM and my conditions haven't been the greatest when temping. The week I started temping I was waking up a lot before hand because I was nervous I was going to miss the alarm (new toy excitement haha) then recently I've been waking up about 1.5 hours before my temping alarm goes off and struggling to get back to sleep so I haven't had that 3 hour good rest before hand its been max maybe 1 hour, so I don't know what I should think.
Timing: -4, -3, and +2 (we were on a good streak since the beginning of the month then got back from vacation on -3 did it when EWCM was really good then went into a 4 day hiatus as we readjusted to post vacation life, which sucks because according to FF that was when I was most fertile (figures) so I think we may have missed the boat : ( but its only month 1 and I'm learning how this all works. I'm about 1/2 through TCOYF so FX
Testing Plans: Day of expected AF which is Monday but I did just get a pack on Wondfos so we will see if I can hold out.
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: I've been really gassy lately which never happens and I have been getting headaches the last 3 days and I can't remember the last time I had one previous to that. Also, normally I have some dark discharge about a week before AF shows up and that hasn't appeared so I'm happy about that but not getting too excited yet. (sorry TMI)
GTKY: how do you tend your lady garden? Do you wax, shave, trim or just let it go? I usually will shave it, let it grow a tiny bit again then shave again. I don't keep up on it with constant shaving. I feel I get a smoother result when I let it grow a bit haha
(sorry this was winded, used it to vent in a way because I was super disappointed when I got the crosshairs this morning and thinking I missed the boat) but I'm relieved at least I'm ovulating because it was a concern of my previous OBGYN and he told me when I start TTC I'll probably need Clomid so we will see what happens.
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: Nothing. I have had a couple headaches today and I get dizzy at random times but that could be from anything. This has been an extremely uneventful two week wait so far. Usually I have all kinds of post-ovulation things going on, but nothing this time around.

I'm surprised at how many ladies are afraid to wax!
Cycle/Month: 8/11
CD/DPO: 28/8
Timing: -1, +1
Testing Plans: I was going to wait until 12DPO, but the dollar store cheapies are so tempting at 10DPO
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: I'm tired. Boobs hurt. Normal PMS stuff.
GTKY: I get brazilians. I have had to shave a few times when I can't get an appointment with my schedule and I immediately regret it. I've been thinking about laser hair removal and just being done with it.
Also, @ava-826 IMO I am not sure you have O'd yet...could the temp spike be a fluke? Your overall pattern leads me to wonder if you have O'd, but I am by no means an expert but just a thought.

@FitMom3510 - I've had the same thing going on with the waking in anticipation of temping. It sucks! Prior to starting to temp (this is my first cycle since 2 years ago) I was sleeping so well; now all of a sudden I'm waking all through the night wondering if it's time to temp.
I've finally gotten over it in my third week but now my cat is waking me up everyday at exactly 450 am and my temp alarm is at 630 and I can't fall back asleep it sucks
Good morning, everyone! Monday down...4 more days until the weekend!
Cycle/Month: 5/4
CD/DPO: CD 19/ DPO 7 or 5! We'll see when AF comes or hopefully not
Timing: good I think
Testing Plans: this weekend! A bit early but my husband is leaving for a month on Monday so we want to try to test before he goes
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: Nothing much just that my temps confused me a bit on when O actually happened, but not worrying too much since I know we had good timing
GTKY: how do you tend your lady garden? Do you wax, shave, trim or just let it go? Hmm.. trim for sure, shave when I get around to it. Waxing hurts!!
This is my first one of these. I don't even know if I go here...my chart's all messed up.
Cycle/Month: 1/1
CD/DPO: 19/6 (maybe?)
Timing: If 6 DPO, then O-1 (We're NTNP)
Testing Plans: None. I'm confused.
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: I've been charting since December and have always had a pretty obvious biphasic pattern. I usually O on CD 12-13, but also have on 11 and 14 before as well. Both last cycle and this cycle my pre-O temps were higher; last cycle I got a cold around 7DPO so my temps were pretty high - high enough to see a shift even with the high pre-O temps. Combine the high pre-O temps with some travel, some sleepless nights and my chart is pretty much a mess. FF doesn't give me crosshairs in Advanced setting, but I swear I O'd on CD13. If I put FF in Research setting it gives me solid crosshairs for CD13. I'm a 24 - 26 day cycle gal. Thoughts? My body is stupid.
No symptoms really, but I don't really get any until AF shows, then usually only cramps.
GTKY: how do you tend your lady garden? Do you wax, shave, trim or just let it go? I'll trim most of the time, but wax if there's a vacation or beach trip or something where I just don't want to deal with it.
@uclameghan do you happen to recall "how" sleep deprived you were on June 9-10 (CD11-12)? Temped after only an hour, etc? The temp itself doesn't mean that much--the last two cycles mine have been much lower than they were originally. I don't really see a shift, especially given the notes on those two low days...though CM coincides so it's really tough to tell. Might just have to ride this cycle out and see what happens. I'm not so good with the different FF settings, though I know it's to do with stringency. What happens if you discard those temps?
Timing: So/So.. this was my first try.. I think it was -4, -3 and -2.
Testing Plans: None yet... probably by the 1st.
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: I was surprised by cramps after insemination.
GTKY: how do you tend your lady garden? Do you wax, shave, trim or just let it go? Hahaha! This made me laugh I shave intricate shapes... Currently the Chinese symbol for "love".... Totally kidding.. :P I trim it.

@maddscientist I work in a histology lab so I'm around xylene, formalin, DAB, etc. I would try and limit your formalin exposure as much as possible, probably wear a mask during your necropsies. My boss/friend is a vet pathologist and she's pregnant--she just wore a mask and took breaks during necropsies. I worked in histology while pregnant with DD and while I was really nervous but she was born completely healthy. I just made sure to take all the necessary precautions--proper PPE, wear gloves, and ask someone else to do things if possible if there's a lot of fumes. I had my coworkers do any heavy lifting at the end (I actually never had to ask--they were always great about "my condition" and offered to tasks that involved formalin).

::lurking this thread::
What are you autoclaving that you're concerned about the fumes?
I'm honestly not too concerned, but my lab is biochemistry/molecular biology. We use some formaldehyde, acrylamide, and radioactivity, but I have no plans to change anything really when I become pregnant. I also use the X-ray detector - it has so many safety checks that it would miraculous of anything got out of that box.
Just curious!
And does anyone else think autoclave fumes smell like wet dog? Or maybe it's just our ancient autoclave.
Testing Plans: BFN yesterday...I'll test again in the morning. If still negative, then I'll probably wait until Saturday (our anniversary to test again).
Rants/Raves/Phantom Symptoms: still dull cramps in my back.
GTKY: how do you tend your lady garden? Do you wax, shave, trim or just let it go?
@irishcurls - got an hour or two and then tossed and turned and stretched and got water and went the bathroom and tried to sleep on the couch, etc. - the usual 'all night insomnia' (well, usual for me). I have tried discarding them. If I do it in Advanced setting, I get the no ovulation and FF gets weird (like what someone else posted about today). If I discard them in Research, it still pegs CD13 as ovulation. This is by far the weirdest cycle yet. I really think it would be fine if I didn't have all those high pre-O temps.
Follow up - I tested this morning with a pink dye EPT and I had a faint line, stronger than I've ever had but still enough for my husband to read one line at first glance. This is all becoming too real! I'm not counting my chickens...I will test again on Friday.
My best to you all. I'm having a little tunnel vision, I need to sit down...
