In general I find the tone of the bump to be pretty 'no-nonsense'. I can see that not really sitting well with everyone.

Oh hi, @haygurlhay‌.

But yeah, I will say that every board has its "rude, disrespectful" people and crazies.

Luckily we can decide to address behavior (in a direct manner, not on another board or in a separate, vague post) when people are saying unacceptable things, and hopefully that will discourage it.

I really never understand these posts. What are you going for here? Will you be shocked and upset when the people you are talking shit about come over and call you out on it? 

Each board is a community. You go get a feel for the community, and decide if it is one you'd like to be part of. Breezing in, judging the board, and breezing out to talk shit is not nice, so you kind of ruin your own innocent thing when you do that. Don't participate in boards you are uninterested in. simple.

I don't think it's out of line to post in a another board and expect people to be nice in their replies. If they don't like what you asked then they can ignore it, but intentionally being hurtful? C'mon. I think if board members are entitled (especially a moderator!) to poke fun and mock others they definitely shouldn't be in that position. Just bc it's online doesn't protect you from treating others with common courtesy. Rant over.

I was a pretty active member of the TTGP board and I personally miss watching a good flaming...

While I think sometimes the person flamed is a victim of a mob mentality, most of the time they freaking deserved it.

I'm sorry you're unhappy with the responses you're getting. It really does work both ways, though-- if you don't like responses you're getting, you can ignore them, too, instead of posting about it.

There are "a-holes" everywhere. The awesome thing is that you get to choose where and with whom you spend your time. So, if a certain board (or even the entire forum) isn't really your style, no one will force you to stay.

So, again, I encourage you to ignore whatever responses you got that you didn't like and move on.

To me, "Hey hormonal women" is just as offensive as "hey bitches." Someone can have a strong reaction to something, and blaming it on hormones is a cop-out in many cases.

I don't like to crash boards I don't belong to, but in this case I think it's worthwhile to look at what the OP is all bent out of shape over. She posted on another board asking about her baby's gender (sex). There were only 2 replies (one a gif and the other recommending she crop her name/DOB out of the u/s pic) before she dirty deleted and slammed the mod who replied then posted her complaint here. I stated there and still believe she is majorly overreacting.

That is what OP is referring to as being an asshole. She wasn't flamed to high heaven or mocked, she's overreacting and being dramatic.

Actually I didn't even care how rude you were to me. As I stated, I read the post of another woman asking to read her ultrasound and guess the gender. After seeing all the bullying, mocking responses to her, I deleted my post and rightly put you in your place. It's not okay to belittle someone for your fun. That doesn't work in the real world and should pass here either. I stand up when something isn't right. I left the 2nd tri board so why are you following and stalking me on mine now?!?

Are you seriously asking people to guess the gender based on the 12 week ultrasound? Didn't we JUST have a thread like this yesterday? Please, being a WK doesn't go over well either. We don't care how "rude" you think the other board is. We are all adults and able to make those decision for ourselves.

why are you trashing another board here?  you're calling these people out, and now you have a problem with them responding because it's on a different board?  people do frequent multiple boards sometimes.
