Monitor Bloopers

We live in a wooded area, so it's not unusual to hear animals outside at night. Well last night, there was some sort of raccoon fight (I think) outside, and they were making this terrible high pitched squealing/screeching noise. The sound was coming from our back bedroom window, which is on the same side as the baby monitor. In my very asleep state, I thought the sound was coming from the monitor and therefore from LOs room. I flipped out, hitting DH and screaming "go get her! Go get her!" as I jumped out of bed to run to her room. I figured out quickly it was outside, but It was really scary in the moment!

When we turn on our monitor, there's a split second that shows the last image that was on when it was turned off. One time I was home alone with LO and I put her down for a nap. When I came out and turned on the monitor, there was my husband sitting next to the crib! It freaked me out for a second!
