0.5oz extra

Is it just my bottle or does adding the scoops of formula add an additional 0.5oz to the bottle? I find it hard to make just the right amount for my LO. We are on Nutramigen. Which is ridiculously expensive so I try not waste a drop

I use Dr. Brown's formula mixer (which is awesome btw ) to premix around a days worth of formula. I always end up with a few ounces extra after mixing. I think the Enfamil can said each scoop adds about 0.2oz.
