My Honda Civic, the car I bought when I traded in my Civic (DH still drives this one) and the bigger family car we bought before DD was born.

My Geo Storm, a beautiful Mustang I bought when I turned 18 that was totaled by a stupid drunk driver (it was my first brand new car and I wanted to keep it forever), and a Cadillac CTS (my car now).

1982 Olds-- literally just stopped working on the highway one day.  It was 14 years old and I think it was just done.

Dodge Neon--I flipped it into a ditch and totaled it

Dodge Neon #2 --drove it into a telephone pole and totaled it

Pontiac Grand Am-- POS.  It broke down constantly.  I sold it when I graduated from law school

Lexus RX 330-- my current car.  I heart it.

My parents let me drive their car when I was in high school and the last two years of college. I've only owned two cars: '99 Honda CRV that I drove forever until it was totaled in Oct (not my fault!) and the '08 Honda Odyssey that we replaced my CRV with. DH owned a car in high school and is still driving his '99 Pontiac Sunfire and we plan that he'll drive it until it dies.

My parents bought a 1993 Geo Prizm when I was 16.  I got to drive it as "my car" for one year, and then I went to college.  They drove it as a family car for the 4 years I was in college - I really did not need a car on my campus, and enough of my friends had cars that I could get off campus when needed.  I moved to DC and was carless for a couple months (on metroline, though) until my parents paid the car off and signed it over to me.  Drove it until 2002, when I traded it in for...

My 2002 VW Beetle in bright blue.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my car.  It is 6 years old and only has @45K miles on it?  I refuse to give into the mommy car thing.  My DD and I get along just fine in this car, and it will fit 2 kids in a pinch.

DH has a 2005 Nissan Altima - I don't really think of it as our car, but it is since it is the "family car"  But I still think of it as HIS car, ya know?
