So Distracted these days

Tell me I am not the only one! lol What are you SUPPOSED to be doing right now but too distracted to do?

Me... I should be working. I work for 5 minutes, putz around for 20 it seems! urr I am just so distracted lately!

You're definitely not the only one.  And it's not like I'm preoccupied with any one particular thing, I'm all over the place.

I should be working, too.  I've spent all day trying to read this little stack of about 15 pages all for the same case.  Well, except for the 2.5 hours I had to leave work to go home and wait for my new dryer to get delivered and installed.

I've been "updating budget files" since about 9am. AKA browsing TB, facebook, zulily, and looking at new home plans? We aren't even moving for 4-5 years. I need to get it together.

I get easily distracted too as far as forgetting what I'm doing. Yesterday we had company over for dinner and I was baking brownies. I started checking on them about 5 minutes before the time on the recipe just to make sure I didn't burn/overcook them and I checked them every 2-3 minutes. I probably did this about 4-5 times and then I realized that I had turned off the oven at some point. When? No clue. So I had to turn it back on and keep checking the brownies. It took me like an hour to bake them.

Oh my gosh, found myself doing this as well! Looking at houses for some reason, when we have only been in our current house a little over a year!  I have been working on a program road map ALL day, I have 2 powerpoint slides done.... its not going very fast. Story of my life these days!

Haha! I know how this feels! On Mothers day I was making cookies at my MILs and I kept checking on the cookies to make sure I didn't burn them. I shut the timer off, then completely forgot they were in the oven! I had to throw the whole batch away because they were burnt! Total space cadet lol

I should be folding laundry and/or starting dinner. But DS is still napping and laying around on TB is much more fun. :P

I really should be starting dinner.  Baby is hungry.  And DH is hungry too. But I just keep saying let me check one more thing.

I called in pregnant to work today, so I didn't have to feel bad about doing nothing but thinking about high chairs all day.

Lmao! That made me laugh! I have conversations with DH and a minute later ask him what we were just talking about. Its scary... I feel dumb, like a dumb cow today! Lol
