In other news, I was just packing a box of baby stuff to send to my bro and sister in law, who are expecting in July. I thought no big deal, glad to send this stuff off etc. Until I got to the little booties. Gah. I can't get rid of them. Such sweet little feet! Can't wait to see their baby at Christmas!
My friend is finally in labor a week past her due date! And it's her birthday today! So excited! Babies!!!

@missconstrued The comments on that hamster picture are ridiculous! RIP Nemo. I have been having so much trouble bumping from my phone (it keeps logging me out), so I had to log on to my computer special just to tell you that!
Update on Tessa's transfer to the kitty room. There are two big parts of this transition.. 1) minimal spoon feeding- luckily T prefers to self feed anyway so this was no big deal. 2) drop the morning nap and sleep on a cot: they said she did great.
However, she was happy when I picked her up and clearly likes the new teachers, she was a tired grumpy pants tonight. She normally falls asleep around 8 but she's already asleep! I'm going to be curious how tonight goes...

Getting off the bed, sitting up by herself, sitting down from a stand, standing without holding on to anything, figuring out the camelbak, eating from pouches without the valve thingy. I might just become a wonder week believer.
I know these developments are old hat for most of you ladies, but keep in mind up until the end of May she was perfectly content to sit and watch the world do stuff.
I am currently doing "pee laps" by shuffling around the floor without lifting my feet up to see if my two year old peed on the floor. Potty training is so intensive. Somehow he peed on the potty 9 times, pooped once, and still used four diapers today.
@COmama1314 I am sorry that you are going through all of that. I hope that everything gets better soon.
@Chunkymonkeylvr my LO is going to be a baby until he's at least 18. I'll be rocking him forever... in his college dorm room with @arlingirl and Oliver.
Maybe they can have three roommates, and I can be there with y'all.
We'll make sure to get them a suite! That's what I had and I wish my mom had been there to rock me to sleep a few of those nights... or hold my hair back, maybe both but instead she was 7 hours away assuming as I was being a well behaved kid.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

You can also put vitamin A&D ointment on it. Burns like hell for a bit but makes it not blister. I don't know if it will still work if it is not pit on right away. Hipe it feels better. Vokda will def make it feel better too.
DH just walked into the living room in his underwear. I let him know that they were inside out. He calmly takes them off and turns them right side out and proceeds to put them back on. I was horrified and said nonononoNO!

You don't need a degree or license to know that vodka is the best way to treat everything.
