Progesterone side effects

I am on day 3 of progesterone suppositories (5dpiui). The side effects haven't been terrible but I'm having the worst dry mouth every morning! This morning I woke up with dry mouth, headache and nausea. Basically I felt hungover even though I didn't drink at all the past week! Luckily the nausea passed but I was worried that I'd have to call in sick to work today! Anyone else experience the dry mouth? That I wasn't expecting!

Knock on wood though, so far the side effects are tolerable. As long as I wear a panty liner, it's not that messy either.

Same here. I am on day 5 and I have dry mouth and awful acne (every cycle) on my chin. Dr said its def progesterone related.

I didn't have the dry mouth, but it made my hair fall out (a lot).

I didn't have dry mouth either, but I did have a headache and nausea. It sucks. Hang in there.

I am on day 5 and I've been waking up with horrible dry mouth as well and yesterday I had the worst cramps I've ever had in my life!

I broke out a little first cycle. But honestly the worst part of this is the "build up" of nastiness in my lady hole.

I have PMS symptoms - bloating, irritability, nausea, sore breasts.... It's SO much fun, right?

I'm over here suffering from my insane appetite.  Today for lunch I had: 1 corn dog, a bowl of spaghettios with meatballs, a handful of chips, berries, a pudding cup, a rice crispy treat, a few slices of deli roast beef, and 2 slices of Swiss cheese.

Yeah, no one needs to eat that much at lunch.

Oh, and my boobs hurt so bad I wince when my arm accidently brushes them on the side.  HATE.

I have had the worst acne on my chest from progesterone!! Also some crazy night sweats!!!

Acne like a 13 year old and an insatiable appetite! I've been craving/eating junk food like a maniac lately. And I have the big looks like a volcano erupting tumor kind of zits. I swear the acne wasn't this bad in middle school ">

I am on endometrin suppositories also and have been having spotting since day one of starting them (I am 8dt6dt). Brown/pink spotting with red every time I actually take one with the applicator. Anyone else have this?? I am also super bloated and a bit crampy... Have been since the day of FET.

Wow it's amazing how different everyone s experiences with this med are! I'm not hungrier than usual and no spotting here. I def agree with whoever mentioned the "build up" ...I just noticed that today (gross!).

I have had dry mouth off and on, and I just figured that the air was dry at those times, but now I'll see if it corresponds to when I use progesterone.

I definitely break out every time (blech) and sometimes have a crazy appetite.

I've been on progesterone suppositories for 5 days now (2x a day) and haven't really felt anything too different. My appetite has decreased (not sure if its the hormone or the fact that I started drinking lemon water daily), I feel a bit more bloated and in the morning I have this weird feeling in my stomach area, not really cramps....it's hard to explain. I'm surprised my whole face hasn't broken out because EVERY month I break out on my chin from my natural progesterone increase before my period. Weird stuff!

The progesterone just makes me cry all of the time.  I've also woken up with a headache since I started it. But no dry mouth.

I'm on day 5 of progesterone and it is definitely causing me to break out.  My skin usually stays pretty clear and I have blemishes on my chin and upper lip area.  Blah...

I haven't had dry mouth, or headaches from it. But I don't take a suppository and that probably makes a difference.

I do get pms symptoms of bloating, acne, soar and tender breasts, and a bit more sensitive.

Im new to this and am not sure how old this post is- but I just started prometrium 100mg three times daily.
I have yucky dry mouth too...but worse I feel "buzzed" and dizzy, with nausea.
Small price to pay if it is helpful though!

I started with prometrium last night with 200mg two times a day. I had lots of cramping last night but today it's been slight cramping and no other symptoms. I hope that I continue like this but as pp said "small price to pay if it helps".
