Cloth Diapering

Really, kid??

Just caught A feeding my lip balm to the dog and rubbing the rest of it on the carpet. Really?!

Also, she's been peeing in her pants on purpose, standing on the stool in front of the toilet, then happily telling me 'Well, now you need to clean it up!' Really?!!

Please feel free to share your own 'Really?!' moments.

Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.

Re: Really, kid??

  • LOL. I'm sorry, but it's a little funny. I think kids like to regress when they feel things are about to change or just to be buttheads. Either one.

Oh, I'm sorry ITK. Kids are such jerks sometimes.

This morning I asked D to watch G while I threw in a load of laundry. I heard G screech giggleing upstairs, and knew something was up. I get back upstairs and D has taught G how to stand on the end table to get up on the back of the couch and then roll off onto the part where you sit. Yeah thanks D, like he isn't enough of a daredevil on his own.

I'm sorry. I hope that it is just a short phase!

My really moment is that DD decided to take a 10 minute nap. Really? 10 minutes? That is not long enough for mommy to get things done! And DH has been sitting on his butt snoring all day. (He came with us to the store and on a walk but that's it). I've taken care of E, taken the dog out, done dishes, done a couple of loads of laundry, tried to work on my school stuff, etc. And I've been up since 4:30.

  • DD#1 was complaining the other day that the vacuum was too loud and she couldn't hear Spongebob.  This was after a very long hard day with DD#2 and DD#3 and I was exhausted but determined to get the house clean.  She was sitting on the couch munching Goldfish.  Well excuse me!!
  • What a turd!

My sister makes her daughter clean up her messes. (Not just potty messes, but food and drinks she spills on purpose, etc.) I would for sure make her clean up that mess, after her attitude!

Well goodness A! That's not nice.

Can I do a "really dog!" Really? Do you HAVE to bark for no reason and wake E up from her nap every day? Every day? Sometimes the wind blows, sometimes birds fly, sometimes cars drive past. I do not require a warning when these events occur. E, however, does require more than a 45 minute nap. Thank you.

@TJ1979‌ ahhh that is so frustrating!! My dog also barks at every sound outside and it drives me crazy. I've got to get back to working on her "quiet" command

That's what is so annoying though, he usually never barks. But when mh isn't home, he's on high alert protecting us. Which means nap time every day. Ugh.

Oh that must be annoying then! And of course it's at nap time. Hang in there!

  • ITK, please let me know if you figure out the potty thing. This last week, DD#1 has been having at least 1-2 accidents a day & gleefully telling me about it. Usually it is in the bathroom or kitchen so it is at least easier to clean up.
