Lol I didn't think it was but I got them like once a year and now I've got them every day for the last 3 days. And you know googling any symptom will make u feel like ur gna die.

I've gotten them 5 times a day for weeks now. Your body is adjusting to a lot, including an increase of air with each breath.

Wow...when I googled hiccups while pregnant it said its a sign of heartburn, which is much much much more sensible then a M/C. Calm down. It will be ok.

I'll throw you a bone here and warn you that later in the pregnancy the baby will get the hiccups. You will feel them, they're not harmful to you or the baby.

Paranoia is normal to a point, but you need to be able to decipher when there is something to it and when it is time to take the CTFD approach.

And lets remember that direct name calling is against the TOU.

HA! I had bad hiccups all the time with my last pregnancy, I don't think it's anything to worry about.  Toward the end I would hiccup and throw up in my mouth at least twice a day!  Fun times!

I realize that OP is being paranoid and I laughed over this post as well but she didn't need to say what she did.

Yes, it was, but frankly there are numerous people around here that could use the reminder.  You don't get a free pass because someone called you a name first (as far as TOU and reporting goes).

Wow way to over react. The question was dumb but your spazz out really does make me question if you are ready for motherhood. Parenting requires maturity & a reasonable approach to many things.

Oh well you have 39+ weeks to hopefully CTFD & grow up. :-??

She's a FTM, got freaked out by something she googled and asked a question on a pregnancy board. The fact that she got defensive (and rightfully so, in my opinion) after being blasted and called names really shouldn't make you question if she's ready for parenthood.

As you said, parenting requires maturity and a reasonable approach to many things. Based on that I'd be way more worried about the future parenting ability of those who overreacted and slammed the poor girl. That shows much more immaturity, to me.

One person called her a name before she started name calling in return, and others even defended her.   Demanding that I delete her thread because she didn't like a few responses is asinine.

She took medical advice from yahoo answers. She then went to another website and asked a question before contacting her dr.Why not call a nurse's hotline or something? I sneezed this morning. According to the internet I could be dying. It would be immature and foolish of me to believe something like that based on a disreputable source like yahoo answers. If I was concerned about my life or the life of my child I would consult my doctor first. Being a FTM is not an excuse for going to the internet before your doctor if you were concerned about a mc.

That wasn't even remotely my point. 

I'm saying that questioning her readiness for motherhood is extremely unfair and frankly, ironic, based on the maturity level shown in the responses she got.

I question her readiness (& yours too really) when you are both throwing the internet version of "but mooooom, they did it toooo!" & stomping/white knighting.

I didn't see immaturity in the responses. More like real life up front answers.

Reality bites apparently.

Granted, the name calling was out of line. However, I did have a moment of "did this poster's brain & common sense up & divorce her?" . Do I think OP is an idiot? No. I think she got so caught up in arm flailing that she lost her mind over something simple.

Being a FTM is not an excuse. It really isn't. There are so many resources available (other than the internet) that being a FTM is just a cop out. I was a FTM at one point. Before I flipped shit I called my OB.

Also, if this thread makes OP a wilting flower then parenting will eat her lunch. Really. Both you & the OP need to CTFD.
