How to properly use a hoe?

The whole point of using a hoe is so you don't have to pull weeds, right?

My brother seems to think I will have to bend down and pull all the weeds out. I'm hoping it will destroy them enough they will die. I'm too pregnant to bend down for an hour and have SPD, which sucks balls.

It's one of those hoes that is in an open square, so it slices the dirt as you push and pull it. It's not the standard flat blade hoe.

Yep have to get the roots out or they just come back, usually stronger than they were before.

Eff! Not the answer I was hoping for.

These weeds are baby weeds. I was hoping I could hoe it every week or so and it would stay under control. Its mostly fuzzy blades of grass, a few inches tall. Not sure what kind of weed that is, but it sure loved the temporary green house.

You can hoe and then kind of rake them up.

The proper way to use a hoe, is quickly, those hoes are expensive!

I guess y'all all grew up in nicer neighbor hoods than I did. The girls on street corner and Vegas hotal lobbys are expensive. It's a joke, sarcasm. I've been dying to repond to the title of post most every day. I could make theses kind of remarks every day, but I figured This one was too funny to keep to myself. Apparently that is not true. One more example from another post today. Talk to me about diaper bags, all I could hear was bubba gump, big diaper bag, small diaper bags, black ones, yellow ones ones with bunnys ect. Yep, I won't do it again. Let me stay!

I'm going to hoe, hoe, hoe, til I can't hoe no mo. Haha. I can't pick weeds, so I hope it works.
