This is my second time on this board, but I unfortunately didn't stick around long last time. Anyway, I'm Jenn, I'm 17 weeks along with my first child -- a boy, as we found out this week -- and will be giving birth at Swedish First Hill. I am in the midst of trying to find maternity clothes I actually like, and a bra that actually fits. I'm starting to think planning a wedding was easier. ;-)

Welcome and Congrats! Im also having a boy and delivering at Swedish First hill! Who is your Dr? As far as Mat clothes go, The only pants I have liked have been from Motherhood maternity, and my favorite shirts have all been from H&M at Southcenter mall.

Hi Welcome and congrats! I might suggest looking at nursing bras at this point the lactation store at evergreen hosptial has a wonderful selection that aren't going to break the bank.

Planning a wedding was definately easier Wink

Welcome and congrats on your little boy. I actually got most of my maternity clothes from craigslist. You can get a lot of really good, gently used stuff that would normally set you back like $300. As far as bras go, I went straight for the nursing bras, I figure why not get something that I'll keep using after the baby comes.

Hi, welcome and congrats on your little boy. I recognize your name -- it's good to "see" you again!

At 17 weeks there is no way I would have been able to buy a maternity bra, my girls were still growing. I went and got fitted at Nordies and told them I was pg and looking for an inexpensive bra. The girl hooked me up with one that would grow a bit with me during pg and it lasted me a long time. Once I knew my size I was able to buy a less expensive bra somewhere else too. If you're larger chested Lane Bryant bras are GREAT!

I had the best luck at Motherhood for my maternity clothes. Target's aren't too shabby either.

I second going to Nordies for a bra fitting. I had a lot of "requirements" for my bra but they found me the perfect one and i wear it every day. ?
