Was a four day week for me thanks to me taking Saturday last week...A decent week I guess....Another week closer to my vacation in Aug...Thats about all I have going on
I enjoy my job because to be honest, I am getting a decent wage to really just sit there...but there is enough days of OMG what just happened to make it interesting. What I hate...Some of my coworkers...lazy ones....so I have to do more work to compensate
This week was busy but slow if that makes sense. Our boss' boss said we are doing a great job so that's good. We also put on a safety meeting at a workplace. One of the workers asked of they could use raid bug spray on an unruly customer?!?! I also saved a cat ( take that firefighters)!!
Qotw: I love that everything is different and I'm not behind a desk. I hate the way our supervision is going. Micromanaged and treated like children. Not all just the new sergeants.
Eh same ole same ole. Still waiting to hear from the jobs I've applied for. I'm actually surprised it's taking so long, you know cause "oh you're a nurse you can always find a job" and "oh that's a huge medical area". Well I've applied to 9 jobs now so come on people, get moving!
Best thing: I love being a part of such a special time, and love the cute babies
Worst part: the charting, the "budgets" aka why we're always short staffed.
TTC since July 2011
HSG normal in May 2012 followed by three unmonitored clomid cycles unsuccessful
Unexplained female infertility (My husband apparently has super sperm)
IUI # 1 Nov 24
BFP Dec 8! EDD Aug 17th, due to Preeclampsia and HELLP, Kylie Penelope was born July 30th!
I just started a job and I'm only working in the mornings part time 4 days a week. I really like the lady I work for. I'm glad I just have one boss instead of 6 at my old job. DS is starting to get separation anxiety so it's a lot harder leaving him than before, which is what I dislike about my job. I also dislike that it's only 20 hours a week and a temp position.
Thought maybe I should check in here... Since work has been the main reason I've been MIA here.. Hoping to change that. I've been pushing for a promotion since DH got laid off so I've been doing any and every little thing I can do to "shine" lol.
I love the flexibility and location of my job,, I hate that I'm underpaid. Unfortunately/fortunately, those two balance each other out.
