Unknown Discomfort

A couple of days ago, I woke up with what I called a tummy ache. Then I started urinating often. I saw the nurse practitioner and she said it sounds more urinary. She gave me an antibiotic because it was getting ready to be the weekend, but couldn't find much evidence of infection. Since then, my lower tummy has been hurting. Seems like the pain increases every so many minutes. My cervix was checked and it's not pre-term labor. Has anyone experienced this?

How far along are you? That might help. I know I have been having little aches here and there but they come and go and have not been progressively worse. I would say see your doctor if they are getting worse. I wouldn't necessarily take the nurse's word for it if you haven't had an exam. Just my opinion.

Sorry, no idea. How long has it been going on? Do you think a call into the office is due?

I'm 26 weeks and saw nurse practitioner Friday. Ultrasound revealed her position as breech, right now, not sure if she's kicking me in awkward places.
