So now that we are fully converted to cloth I can't fit everything in my diaper bag, which is a perfect excuse for a new one. What brand/type of diaper bags do you all use, what do you all love/hate? Leaning towards a Ju Ju Be be prepared.
I bought a Be Perpared and it was WAY too big (and heavy) for me, even with 2 in cloth. The BFF gets lots of love from people, it seems. I have 2 skip hop bags (a studio and the Forma), and I love both.
I don't know why there aren't more backpack-style diaper bags on the market. They make so much sense -- they're easy on your back, and they can hold lots of stuff.
We have an Ergo Travel Backpack. I usually carry 3-4 changes, but it can hold a lot more. It has special straps so that you can attach it to a carrier, but I've only done that a few times. It fits easily into our stroller basket (City Mini GT). Our previous diaper bag was a Skip Hop Duo, which barely held anything and did NOT fit very well into our stroller basket.
I have a huge Vera Bradley diaper bag that holds a lot but it isn't practical to use while babywearing. I just bought a Kavu rope bag for short errands and I love it. It holds a least 3 changes, probably more if I didn't carry sunscreen and bug spray at all times. Plus, it's comfy while babywearing.
We haven't had our baby yet but we are just using a 20 dollar backpack we got at Kmart that my husband was previously using on his bike trips to the grocery.
I purchased and returned 2 regular diaper bags because apparently you can only spend a reasonable amount on a bag and have room for absolutely nothing or you can get a bag big enough for a huge amount of money though I do understand the appeal of the JuJus and BFFs and Skip Hops because of their design.
I think mine is a hiking backpack too because it has some good pocket options.
I have a pretty big diaper bag, but I love it. It's a JJ Cole bag, and it comes with clips to hang off the handle on my stroller. It's big enough for everything we need, including some cloth diaper changes, and it has so many pockets I have reserved 2 pockets for my stuff so I use it as my purse (including holding my giant wallet, sunglasses case, keys, etc.).
I also have a Coach diaper bag that isn't quite as big, but I think would hold pretty close to the same amount of stuff (minus an extra receiving blanket maybe). But I honestly haven't loaded and used it yet because it's really nice (it was a gift from my sister) and I'm worried I'll spill something on it. It's more of a purse style bag, so I think it will be good to use when we go somewhere wearing the baby, instead of with our stroller, since the JJ Cole bag so conveniently hangs on the back.
We have a cheapie Fisher Price diaper bag. For the price it's actually held up well. (I wanted the JJ Cole one Rachel has, but I never found it for a price I was willing to pay.)
That being said, if I had it all to do over I'd hands down go for a backpack style. We baby wear more than anything else. Backpack is the way to go when BW'ing.
Thanks for the input! I looked at the backpack style but DS likes to be on my back more often than my front so I wasn't overly excited by that. I have the fisher price diaper bag right now and it's REALLY overstuffed with only two changes so much so that I've had to take out my stuff (wallet, keys, cell, etc.) and put it back in my purse and I really hate carrying both.
I hate to admit it but besides all the diapers I've been getting lately to build DS's stash I haven't splurged on anything for myself in over a year and half almost two years, not even a haircut or pedicure. So part of the appeal of the Juju be is the cute prints, it'll be kinda like getting a new purse!
Are there any other diaper bag brands out there that are cute and stylish but not ridiculously expensive? The juju is pushing it price wise so definitely not more than that.
Does anybody else have the be prepared? Will I regret getting something so big?

This is the bag I have and I love it.

We have a Be Prepared that we use for day trips. It holds a ton and I use it when I'm dropping N off at a grandma's for the day, long days away from home, and weekend trips. It easily holds a whole day's worth of cloth, toys and everything we need. We could probably have 2 in cloth it's so big. But it would probably be a pain for quick trips to the grocery store and things along those lines.

When I wear DS on my back I just wear our backpack frontways and put my wallet and other essentials in the main compartment. I prefer that over wearing something across my shoulder, either under or over the baby carrier. I think you just have to try things out and figure out what works for you.

OMG that's brilliant and so obvious I don't know why I didn't think of that!
I still have an inside baby but I splurged on a jujube bff (this one! https://amzn.to/1vhQ5Va ) I got a better deal by using a 20% off coupon at buy buy baby.

I have a JuJuBe BFF and I hate how heavy it is. My friend unexpectedly sent me a WAHM Doctor Who diaper bag that is a million times lighter, holds just as much, and now I use it as a purse, too.

Okay I've decided to go ahead and get the be prepared and the be quick so I can put my stuff in the be quick and just grab it for runs into stores and leave the be prepared in the car but still have everything I need all in one bag for the whole day.
Hopefully I won't regret not getting the BFF instead. But DH and I are planning on more babies soon so I know the space will come in handy. Plus I found the one I wanted (sea amo) for 15% off with free shipping and tax.
Thank you everyone for all your input!
Anybody out there have a Ju Ju be tokidoki that they want to share? I need some pics to tide me over until my bag gets here. I can't wait!!

The BFF I have is an older design tokidoki. The sea amo design is way cuter!
