This is driving me freaking bananas

I got to thinking after posting about Polly pockets in the toy thread...I'm not sure the toy I'm thinking of was actually Polly pocket. Does anyone remember a set of toys where you got a larger doll (not Barbie sized, still small, maybe three inches) and item and then the item opened to show a miniature doll and play set?

For example, I remember a doll that had a bed that opened to show a tiny bedroom and tiny doll. Is that Polly pocket or something else? I swear I'm driving myself crazy over this stupid thing!

ETA: yes, I started a new thread over this. That's how much it's bugging me. 8-}
