Strawberries? Way back when it was a no no, but wondering if things have changed.

Curious if anyone here feeds their lo off limit food.
Yesterday I made steel cut oats with coconut milk and let Owen have some. It dawned on me that was a no no, but he liked it and had no affect on him.

Yes but he hasn't had them that often. Allergies recommendations have changed, so while we waited, we still gave them before one year. He doesn't appear to be allergic.

Ds2 eats strawberries every single day. I started feeding them to him when he was 9 months.

The only thing we are staying away from is honey. He's had strawberries before but didn't really like them. I'm still going to keep offering them though. It took a few tries for him to eat tortilla.

Yeah. She has had so many things that I'm sure she isn't suppose to have. Lily loves strawberries.

Only thing I won't give him is honey (although he had deli ham that was "honey ham" the other day - oops). He also hasn't had shellfish, but that's more because the opportunity hasn't presented itself yet.

Almost everyday. We got the oh ahead to eat anything. Even though we pretty much already had.

She eats and loves strawberries but she gets a little rash around her mouth sometimes. Tomatoes do it too sometimes. She's had shellfish and citrus but not honey.

Yep! He loves them and if I remember to buy them, he has them daily.

Strawberries...everyday Other high allergy, not yet. Haven't done nuts or shellfish (pedi advised waiting) He's had egg baked into things twice now. And thanks to DH he's sucked on a lemon and ended up with a touch of a rash. Not sure if it was that or a random pouch (a pouch that had lemon juice in it...) It was the only pouch he's ever had....other than the homemade infantinos

She has some kind of berry daily! They are her favorite food. In swear that kid could eat a pint of blueberries if I let her!

Nothing is off limits at 1 and 11 months isn't much of a stretch so it's kind of a parental call right now.  He's had strawberries for months.  He hasn't had nuts or peanut butter after a possible reaction to a nut bread so we're seeing an allergist for that.

Oatmeal is fine, it's the coconut milk which was a no no food, or so I thought.

W eats strawberries all the time. Also drinks coconut milk. Never heard of that being an issue? Care to elaborate??

Us to. He is obsessed and would eat them by the carton if I let him.

L has strawberries almost every day, he likes basically every type of berry we've tried. We've done everything but honey at this point.
