Ovidrel?

Hi everyone,
I'm in my 3rd (and last) cycle with Clomid, also pairing with Ovidrel this month. I have not used Ovidrel before, so I'm looking for any experience that you all have had with using that particular trigger. I had my day 10 ultrasound today, and there has been growth since my baseline day 3 ultrasound, but I typically don't ovulate until Day 20-22ish, so I have to go back on Sunday to check again. I've never given myself any kind of shot before, what was everyone's experience? Also, the info sheet that came with it said to inject in the stomach, at least one inch away from belly button. My Dr. said thigh is also an option. Which did you do? Thanks in advance!

I'm super lucky that DH is a doctor but I would almost rather give myself the shot because I don't like how he does it! The needle is so tiny, I'm not saying it doesn't hurt, but no where near how I thought it would. If you have someone who could either give you the shot or pinch your skin while you give yourself the shot that would be best. I've never tried my leg only stomach. No side effects other than a little red spot where the needle went in.

Yea sub Q shots do not really hurt, like PP mentioned, just pinch and shoot. Be thankful it's not an IM trigger, THOSE are painful. 

Def do it in your stomach, you think your thigh would hurt less, but the skin is tighter there so it's a lot harder to grab and pinch- always go for your stomach when possible- you'll barely feel it.

Thanks for the advice! Now just to wait and keep monitoring until the right time I guess. I am going tomorrow which will be day 12. I'm thinking the follicles may still be too small, since I usually don't ovulate for another week or more from now.
