PR: My kid is terrified

Help! M 2 yo DS has recently become terrified of everything. I realize that this is a common phase, but I never went through it with DD, and I didn't realize just how upset he would get. He got very scared by the 'Backson' on the Winnie the Pooh movie, and now his relatively normal fears are just escalating exponentially over this last week.

We went to story time at the library today, which we have been to multiple times before no problem, and he freaked out over the puppet show. Balling, clinging, really upset. And now he has been trying to climb back into my womb the rest of the morning. Any tips? Basically all I've been doing is holding him in my lap and talking a bit about it. I haven't been leaving. I have no idea what to do here.

Thanks @libraryChica I have seen that, my little guy just seems a little bit young for that. I will give it a try though and hope it helps.
