Questions about Laser Hair removal

So, iam seriously thinking about getting my Bikini area, and my toes done. Has anyone here had it done? How much did it cost? Did it hurt? Did you go to a National chain like Ideal Image?

I had it done on my face. It was a package deal form Ideal Image, not sure of the cost, it was a gift from my mother.

It worked really well. I have medium brown hair and pretty pale skin. Of course, I got it done before DD and some weird hairs grew in after I had her. I will go back once this bean is bornins September.

It pinched a bit, but nothing bad. Also, you CANNOT go out in the sun afterwards.

Has anyone used to TRIA laser? I got sucked into one of their infomercials and am seriously considering trying the mini one...

I had my underarms and entire bikini area done. I went to a national chain (American Laser Centers) but wish I hadn't. Even though it worked, I felt like I paid way too much and had to go way too many times.

A girl I know went through a dermatologist office and it was cheaper, and quicker. I should've done more research but I was young and dumb.

I had it done before I had DD and haven't seen any regrowth. None I this pregancy so far either.

Thanks ladies. I was thinking about Ideal Image, but after reading some reviews of our local Ideal Images, i have crossed them off of my lists of places to visit.

I didn't know I could get it done through my dermatologist, i'll have to ask!

I HATE American laser center and beg you to not give them your money. PLEASE!
I've done it, sorta worked but place was so awful I couldn't finish my treatments. My friends who've went to a doctor (either derm or gyno-yes gynos have spas now) have had way better results and MUCH better service. So that's the route I'd recommend to go

My body hair is too light...it doesn't work that well for me. It's utterly disappointing!
