We are nearing our 1 year warranty/walk through on our new home. We have several smallish items. Our biggest issue is the sinkholes that have developed around the yard and, most recently, in the driveway. I can them sinkholes because you can actually see a cavernous space in the hole. We had architects draw up our house plans so they've been out to see them and review our other items on the punch list. DH, architects, and I believe the sinking is due to improper packing of dirt after our geothermal line was laid. We emailed the builder about the driveway and he called it an "act of God" and, therefore; not covered. I think once he sees it, he may understand better.
Did you have success in getting items taken care of? Did you have to "fight" the builder on it?
