Is it specifically the sports team you love and want to "honor," or do you like the sound? If it's the sound of the name (you know, short boy B name), how about:
Bruno Brice Bruce Brendan Brody Bradley Braden Blake Blaise Brent Brian Brin Burke etc...
ETA: Brin is the closest I can think of and it's a real name. It's Welsh, means "hill," and ranks at 797 in the United States. The original spelling is Bryn, but I personally prefer the spelling with "i" (which is a legit alternate spelling) because of all the false/added "y"'s around these days.
Awww. I told you I LOVE name posts. Before this LO, if you asked me to name 5 boy names that started with B, I would have stammered out something like Brian and Brandon...all the name searching has my head FULL of names! Lol

This is why she's the O14 Mother of the Board. ;;)
Nope - sorry. I'd also add that I know two different little girls named Bryn so not sure about Brin for a boy either. To me is sounds like someone with a rough accent saying Brian. Just my singular two cents.

Not a fan, sorry. And even if you wouldn't be naming him after the Boston Bruins, that's what everyone is going to think of. I hate sports and that was the first thing that popped into my mind.
DH has pushed pretty hard for Cameron both with DD and now with DS, after Cam Neely. But no. If you're trying to honor the Boston Bruins, maybe consider Cam?
I don't think I'd hate it as a name if it weren't for the team but I really just can't get passed the sports reference. Maybe it would be different if I was a Bruin's fan but I'm kind of the opposite, sorry.
Lol...there are so many things that rhyme with that. If I were a little kid (the jury's still out on that), I'd probably call him Pooin' Bruin. Sorry for my immaturity.
Re: Not a name poll, just a yes or no!

Sorry, OP. Didn't mean to suggest a girl name for your little boy.
