TTC after 35

Basal thermometer purchased...

I thought my mother was kidding when she kept yelling at me to take my temperature!!! I told her it was 2014! I guess the 74 year old knows what she's talking about.

Re: Basal thermometer purchased...

  • That's awesome, Fredifer1115. I wouldn't get too stressed about not temping at the same time each morning. As long as I've gotten at least three hours of sleep, I can still identify key shifts. Hopefully you will be the same!

  • Haha! Yep...temp taking never goes out of style.
  • Happy temping!  I agree--don't stress too much about taking it at exactly the same time, etc.

And try not to be like me and read your charts as if they mean something (something beyond the fact that you ovulated, I mean).

Yeah, FF isn't happy with the variance in when I take my temp. Sorry, dude. If I get a chance to sleep in I'm taking it! And I can't help it that some days I get woken up early.
  • Lol when I log my temps into ff I always put the same time everyday. Even if I do it at different times in the morning. As long as its at least 3 hours of sleep (like someone mentioned). Happy charting to u

I do the same thing and have managed to find a shift every cycle.  Though I do notice the temp is higher if I take it later.
