First ER Trip!

Had our first visit to the ER last night. DH was home with LO and LO had a seizure. He called 911 and they took him to the emergency room. Turns it out was most likely a febrile seizure (related to a quick fever spike, he was at 102.5 when he had the seizure, it happened right as DH took his temp), but they kept us a few hours for observation because LO had hit his head at the playground earlier in the day. We left around 1 am; LO was in great spirits and asked that we take him to the playground, lol. He seems well this morning, too, though still feverish and probably tired after a night of being poked and proded. Very glad he's OK and that we survived our first ER trip as parents with no collateral damage!
