Husband CD Fail - but he tries so hard

My husband is really into cloth diapering now that Colin is here and wearing the diapers. We have flats, prefolds and bamboo inserts all to use with covers. When we use the bamboo inserts (his favourite type of CD - basically an AI2) we also use a Bummis fleece liner to keep C's bum dry in between changes. So my husband got C changed and dressed this morning while I showered. We went for a walk and I heard C poop on the walk (he's a loud pooper/farter) so I changed him as soon as we got home. Yeah ... the fleece liner was upside down.

I don't know how effective that would be, but I really can't complain since my husband has so fully embraced the CDing - he even offered to wash them the other day!

  • It's ok, my DH had put prefolds on sideways, they still caught the poo. CD for the win :) at least they try.
  • Loading the player...
  • One night I went to feed E in the MOTN and she was soaking wet. We hadn't had many nighttime diaper leaks so I was confused. Until I realized H had put on a fitted without a cover. Had him get up and change the sheets and it hasn't happened again :-)

  • I love a man who takes care of his baby! At least he tried. Haha. I wouldn't be too hard on him. ;)

  • What kind of fleece liner? It should still work upside down.
Oh it did work. It was a Bummis brand one. But the fleece-y side would feel nicer on the butt. :)
