NE1 have a cervical polyp while pregnant?

If so, can you tell me about any spotting? thanks.

When I went in for my first appiontment (to confirm my pregnancy) I was told that I had a polyp. I was nervous about it, but my dr didn't seem very concerned, she said that it can be pretty common, and that it could go away on it's own, and if not, once my pregancy was over I am have to get it removed. I went in for another appointment and asked my doctor about it, she checked for it and it went away on it's own.

 

I don't know if that is helpful, but it was definitley something that I had been concerned about that ended up taking care of itself.

I had one that was found at the beginning of my pregnancy. I had spotting on and off that varied from light brown spotting to a lot of red bleeding. I am also being monitored for a shortened cervix so I am having vaginal ultrasounds every two weeks. After my last one, I passed tissue that my doc thinks was the polyp. I haven't spotted since.

According to my OB it is normal to have a ton of spotting with a polyp and they often fall off on their own.
