I put 2. I am 30. When I am texting if I don't put a period in myself, i can put two spaces in and it will automatically add a period and start a new sentence for me.

36, used to do two spaces as that's what I was taught MANY years ago. I've recently read it was changed to one.

I took a college English class 4 years ago and the comma was optional then because it's implied.

I learned how to type in "typewriting class" on a an actual typewriter, taught by a nun. Two spaces was what we learned. I have heard since that it's one now, but it's an old habit that would be WAY to hard to break at this point. Also, I think it looks better with two so I don't really want to break it.
