Do they do it earlier for twin pregnancies?

The Group B Strep test or whatever? I had my second one done last week, and she tested me earlier, around 28-29 weeks probably the first time. So yeah, I think earlier, and I didn't remember getting tested twice for it last time either, but maybe I did.

I was tested at 33 weeks.

I haven't been tested yet and I just had my 34 week appt today.

I had my boys at 34w and it hadn't been done yet. I vaguely remember that everyone got preventative abx in the event that I had been pos.

I was tested around 35w-36w w my singleton, iirc.

They didn't test me and my water broke at 35 weeks so I had to get the antibiotics during labor/delivery.  So I would def. request testing on the earlier side (32 weeks maybe?)

I was tested at 32 weeks because multiples are more likely to be early... And told that if I make it to 37 weeks, we'll repeat the test then.

The test is good for five weeks, so if you make it five weeks past the first test you will need another one. So, 32-33 weeks should be good for most depending on how long your doc will let you go.

When my sister was pregnant with her first, she thought the group b strep test was a throat swab. I kid you not.
