Stupid question about PW wet bags

Which side is the inside and which is the outside?

A friend let me borrow her large (pail liner size) wet bag and I can't figure out which way is right . One is a shinier finish and one is a matte finish -the matte finish has a visible seam and also the PW tag. I'm so confused. :-S

The shiny side is the waterproof side, so you want it on the inside near the wet diapers.

The shiny side (which seems like the outside) snags on my diaper pail when I pull it out, so I use it with the cloth side out now!
