Im not apologizing..

So I have been having a issue with my daycare. LO is getting BM and FF both during the day. He gets 4 ozs of whatever I pump the day before and also just up'd his formula to 6 ozs. There is a older lady in his room that is just forgetful. She has screwed up his formula many times. I even took LO in myself last week and had the director and both teacher in the room to discuss them messing up his formula and putting either too much water or too little water.

Well I went back in yesterday and again the older teacher gave him 4 ozs of water with 6ozs of formula. So I corrected the teacher and then this morning sent a text with a picture of his paperwork and called the director myself after DH had dropped LO off and also discussed the issue. I received a text from the other teacher saying she was correcting the issue.

I almost apologized for being a nag, but then realized I have nothing to apologize for. This is my child and his health and well being is in my hands. If I don't stand up for him, then no one will. I will be a bitch till the day I die for my child to make sure he is properly taken care of and no one hurts him.

Can you fix his bottles in the morning? Will gets a different ratio than what's written on the box so I always premix. It's so much easier than making sure other people remember.

I agree with @babylimas --- we premix DD's because she gets the 24cal.  I premix the BM to make it 24cal as well too.

However, I wouldn't apologize - and agree you shouldn't have to make them yourself to ensure that your daycare is doing THEIR job right. It's not that difficult. Make the stupid bottle right!

I make his bottles every morning. he gets his BM bottles and I put the formula already in the bottles ready to go without water. I could already mix with water, but I am just weird and paranoid in regards to mixing his formula bottles until right before they are ready. They do have a fridge and I pack his lunch with a ice pack so i could go ahead and make the bottles I guess.

Is that something you can do? I know you shouldn't have to simplify the process for them (when it's already pretty simple) - if making bottles is something they are doing as a provider, then they should be getting it right. You're paying them to get it right.

This is what I do when I go out. I will do it for daycare and my MIL too.
