I mentioned to him that I changed my mind about having a nursery, even if the kid wont use it, so I have a room to store his crap.

That means he needs to finish the baseboard in that room.

NOW my husband is all "Lets move into the spare bedroom, fix our room, redo our bathroom, fix the spare bedroom and redo the kitchen floors! We can work on it every day until baby comes

HOW ABOUT NO.

I don't want a freaking 6 month list of projects going on! I just want the stupid baseboards done in the spare bedroom! UGH.

I told him this of course and now he's butthurt.

I just went from being excited about a nursery to being stressed out over all these expensive ass projects.

So like a dude. I just want to paint our room. I'm betting it gets done a month after the baby is born.

OMG, my husband did the same thing when I was pregnant with number 2! Only I was stupid enough to let him. Basically I was a raging bitch until shit finally got finished, all I wanted was her effing bedroom walls painted!

Oh hell no. I moved the freaking month before DD came and it was a nightmare. Granted, she came earlier than we had hoped, giving us even less time, it was still a huge headache. I wanted this house so bad but it needed a lot of work. I didn't consider everything at the time and after DD arrived there was a constant flow of workers in the house doing all kinds of things while I was trying to get a newborn to sleep. Never again will I do anything like that.

So let's trade husbands because every thing on his list sounds awesome. My DH is a teacher and I doubt he will do anything this summer.
