Sorry ladies! I'm in the midst of a hurricaine of unpacking, dirty clothes, pregnancy fatigue and other moving problems - totally forgot to do this yesterday! :-/

What size/fruit is baby now?

Rants/Randoms/Happiness?

Pregnancy:  Any new symptoms popping up this week?  Anything disappearing?

NPR:  I'm reading a few different articles about how airlines are cracking down on the size of carry-ons. Pretty soon we aren't going to be able to bring much at all on the plans, and will have to pay to check everything. Thoughts if relevant for your family?

  • We are a pomegranate.  Once again I'm lost on the sizing of the bump fruit scale.

As noted from the day-late posting I'm living in moving hell right now.  I can get maybe 30% of my usual amount of stuff done and frankly there are things that DH just isn't good at so I need to do them.  He's done most everything (he's amazing) and the little bit on my plate is taking freaking forever :( I feel like this is never going to get finished!!

I feel pretty good in general but the quickness to being tired is really creeping up now.  I'm genuinely surprised at how little I can get done in a day at this point, comparative to before.

I feel like something is going to have the change with airlines.  How can we all afford to keep flying places if you can't carry hardly anything on?  The price of tickets alone, now plus a charge per bag?  Its insane.

  • What size/fruit is baby now? 21 weeks-a pomegranate!

Rants/Randoms/Happiness? I am in Nashville, TN for work this week. I wish it were more fun but I am probably going to be working til 10pm or later every night. Yay...

Pregnancy: Any new symptoms popping up this week? Anything disappearing? My belly is getting noticeably bigger! Other than that, my hips are starting to hurt some. I am assuming this is because of a slightly different weight distribution, because I am actually still down 2 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight (started overweight so this is actually a good thing for me).

  • What size/fruit is baby now?
    Grapefruit :)

I've been feeling baby move for 6 weeks now, and thumper tends to have runs if very active days followed by a few less active days. Even though I know it's normal, when baby has less active days I still get worried that something is wrong. I'm still feeling baby move, just not as often or as strong as other days.

I pulled something in my back over tr weekend - and I could barely get off the couch on Sunday. It's better now, but holy hell was I in pain.

We don't fly very often, but I'm not surprised by the change. Seems like they will do about anything to make a few extra bucks.
  • What size/fruit is baby now? 23 weeks so baby is the size of a grapefruit. According to my OB though I'm still due October 4--she didn't adjust the 2 days based on the size baby was measuring which also matches up with when I ovulated. Odd. I guess two days isn't a big deal though.

Rants/Randoms/Happiness? DH started his new job last week and has been crazy busy working 8-7 every day. I expected he'd be busier because it's a much larger law firm, but I'm still bummed not to have him home around 5:30 or 6. He even has to go in on Saturday's for a few hours. Boo!

Pregnancy:  Any new symptoms popping up this week?  Anything disappearing? No new symptoms. Our little wiggler has been crazy moving. She started moving around 17 weeks and hasn't stopped. I can tell she is really strong though because now I can see her kicking!

We fly for vacations about once a year so it's disappointing. I think they're going to continue to hike the prices thought to pay for the fuel, pilots, staff, etc. They're too money hungry. Boo!

  • I was wondering where this was yesterday, but totally understand moving problems. My SO and I have been in our place almost three months and we're still partially living out of boxes.

    Anyway!

What size/fruit is baby now? 22 weeks - Papaya!

    Rants/Randoms/Happiness?
Happiness: Our shower got fixed! Rant: We need a new washing machine. Sigh.

Pregnancy:  Any new symptoms popping up this week?  Anything disappearing?
Not so much a symptom, but I'm more aware of my belly. Like, it seems to be getting in the way of bending over/the counter/doors and frames etc. Good thing the little guy is well protected in there otherwise I'm sure he'd have bruises.

I've never been one to take a lot in a carry on anyway. However, now that we have kids and for the people flying with children, I think it's ridiculous to put more of limit on how much you can bring. I guess it also depends on flight length too. I would assume they mean that for all flights you can only bring so much. But flying for two hours or less is a lot different than 10 or more. In terms of paying for things to be checked, I'm not surprised. They already do it. When my SO, DD and I last flew, we had to pay $50 more just because our one suitcase was 5lbs overweight. $50! For 5 more pounds.
