My dh hates that I will put our lo in the play pen with the tv on while I run to the bathroom. It's pretty much the only tv we do all day. I don't think its so bad.
I put on Daniel Tiger or Sesame Street while I shower if I can't get a shower while he naps. Sometimes I put on the news while we eat breakfast. Total it might be 30 minutes, but not every day.
Bradley "earns" his TV privileges by doing chores and going on the potty, so Ty is in the room while we watch, but hasn't really seemed captivated by anything. He's exposed to about an hour a day.
We have tv on in evenings and dh watches mostly. LO won't really pay attention since we're usually playing with toys. She does watch doc mcstuffins or baby first tv when I need to shower or do something specific.
MIL has the tv on all day while she's watching him. On the weekends we're usually out and about, but if we are home the tv is usually on for background noise. He'll glance at it once in awhile but doesn't sit and watch like a zombie.
The only "TV" LO watches is when I put on "what does the fox say" to clip his nails. And even that isn't working so well any more ... any suggestions for nail clipping strategies?
DH always has something on his computer, which LO might glance at, but for the most part completely ignores.
I have the tv on all day because I need the noise. I keep it on one of the two nick channels. Grayson will watch a few minutes of it here and there and will dance whenever music is playing.
