So, this is something I keep asking my RE over and over again! Luckily, his memory from one visit to the next isn't the greatest unless he puts it in his notes and he doesn't note my questions...
I had the day three tests done in February and my FSH was 1.5 - RE said anything under 10 good; my reserve level (can't really remember what it was called) was 50 and he said anything under 80 good plus my tubes were all open, easy flow and my ute had a normal shape so all was good. Here is my question that I keep asking because I am not understanding the answer...what does all of this say about egg quality? I've been taking CoQ10 200 in am and pm (just went from a total of 200 to 400) and I've read there are two kinds and one absorbs better (of course, not the one I am taking) so I plan to switch when I run out but I am hoping this is helping???
I've also asked about taking progesterone - if it doesn't hurt, why not? Should I push for this? He said I haven't proven anything yet and my lining is always nice and thick...
I go this Friday to see if there is anything stirring to try again this month and I hope that there are at least 2 follies when I do try. I want more chances, my RE says that's just allowing more chances for multiples...I want all the chances I can get!
Sometimes, I wonder if it is worth it to put myself through this since I am doing this alone. It is so nice to read about all of you with your partners for support and doing this together. I could never find that right person and just ask to be allowed to have this. I have high doubts it will ever happen...I just wish I had not been so careful in the past.
Since I am very new at this and extremely green...any info would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Questions...please and thanks!
You are ten times better off than I was at 21 so I know you can do it if I did.
As for the CoQ10 I believe @Samuelismomma started taking that before her BFP so maybe she can give you some answers about that.
Progesterone won't hurt anything so if you want to be on it push your RE to get you on it starting right after you O.

Have you considered acupuncture? I was told that I have poor egg quality and we are focusing on cleansing my system.
There is a natural fertility website
that gives you advice on an optimal fertility diet and they also sell herbal supplements. I just finished the 30 day cleanse. Also, do you temp? I just started but I've learned more on Fertility Friend in one month than everything else I've read.

On to IVF #2 in March. CCS Testing on 2 embies. No go. Waiting to start IVF #3 in July. Surprise BFP on 6/14! EDD - 2/20/16 - Beta #1: 121.4. Beta #2: 236.4. Beta #3: 2014.
I believe the "better" (more easily accessible) form of COQ10 is Ubiquinol. It is, sadly, a bit more expensive and hard to find (less ubiquitous-hah), but they have it at Whole Foods, Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, and other places, I'm sure.
I'm taking it and a whole bunch of other supplements I can tell you about if you're curious, and I think either they or the acupuncture (seconding @Lesliem0901 in recommending it) are helping. My chart is looking a lot better (less spiky and erratic) than it has in the past.
As far as your numbers go, they look good. I think the reserve level hormone you mention might be estradiol (E2)? You might discuss your FSH with your Dr. I believe low FSH can be problematic, too (although I'm sure he/she would have mentioned it if it were too low...)
Definitely agree about the temping/charting, if you're not already!
Best of luck to you--we're all rooting for you!

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
More power to you in going after what you want in life! Do you have family and friends that know you're going through the IUI's? It's nice to have that cheering squad sometimes (besides us, that is )
Like pp stated it's hard to determine egg quality, most of the fertility panels really just assess your potential response to fertility treatments. IVF can give some additional info about egg quality.
Progesterone can't hurt, but it is kind of gross to deal with. When I was doing IUI's, progesterone was part of the protocal from my RE so I say why not try it?

I have been temping on FF and have a pretty good temp rhythm.
Yes, E2 was the test! My RE said the 1.5 was fine and I had also read a really low number could mean something but it depends on something else which escapes me at this point.
I have shared with one sister and two friends but I can't share to the extent I would like too which is why I turn to all of you!
When I see my RE on Friday, I am def going to tell him I want Progesterone this time around.
I have seen how expensive the better form of CoQ10 is but I am going to have it to start after what I have is done.
Again, thank you all so much! I stumbled across this site when researching my options a year ago and I am so glad that I did! I don't even know how I came across the TTC >35 part and I haven't even looked at any of the others and know some of you are on different ones but I just feel so comfortable here!
Wishing you all the best!! Thank you

@URMySunshine77...I certainly hope so! If all goes well (FX!!!), I should have an IUI in about three weeks. Thanks for asking
@C_Girlie & @Davie813...Thank you for the support
@Samuelismomma...Great information. I started 600 of the CoQ10 (200 morning, afternoon and bedtime), I am on the B Complex but am curious about the Vitamin C??? Also, I've always been borderline anemic but I am taking prenatals so I assume I should be OK in that area. this time, I will be on progesterone as I have already told my RE we will be doing this! Thank you
ALL of the ladies of this board are GREAT and I am so glad you all are always here
