Constant Cough

Tumaini has been coughing non stop since early afternoon. It's a dry cough, she's drinking well (but barely eating), no fever, and still in a happy-ish mood.. We were told by the nurse helpline that we should wait till tomorrow to bring her to doctor. Does anyone have any remedies so that there's even a possibility she might sleep tonight? Any advice to help her feel better?

Humidifier or vaporizer? Hope she feels better and is able to get some rest!

Thanks everyone for your advice. We tried the humidifier and something ressembling Zarbee's, but it didn't seem to help much at the beginning. However, her cough calmed down after a few hours, and she slept soundly from 2 to 8. Better than nothing, right? I'll send my H get some Baby Vicks tonight.
