Pregnant after a Loss

Underwear talk

Ok ladies I know that it was brought up here maybe once or twice. I need you to spill the beans on what underwear you found that works. I am now starting to round out and my lace top underwear I bought at vs are getting tight. I am sensitive to having things low on my belly and just don't know what I can wear now that isn't expensive. So ladies I am asking you to spill please!

Re: Underwear talk

  • I wear the VS lace top bikini briefs.  :/  Sorry to not be any help.  Lol.  But I guess I'm carrying up higher because my bump does not get in the way of these panties.

  • I just wear boring Hanes bikini underwear mostly. I've not really had an issue with my regular underwear but admittedly it's not very sexy to start with. ;)

  • I wear Cotten bikinis ...lol.they breath and don't chafe my belly....note....they are the opposite of sexy! Lol

  • My most comfortable panties are the Tommy Hilfiger cotton ruched bikini panties.  I got them at Dillard's one size up from my regular size.  Very soft, don't push on my abdomen at all, but are still super cute.  I also got a pack of regular cotton panties at Target a couple sizes up that are also very roomy and comfortable.  Not as cute, but they don't make me feel uncomfortable and they are pretty inexpensive.

  • I am utterly devoted to fold over maternity underwear.  Pre-pregnancy I wore hipsters and so I bought maternity hipsters when the belly started growing.  I hated them.  They were too tall to fit below my belly but weren't cut to go over it, so they just got scrunched up.  I keep the fold over ones folded up and they are so much more comfortable for me.

I have these ones from Motherhood Maternity:

Not perfect but way more comfortable than anything else I've tried while pregnant.  Honestly the biggest issue with them is that they come up really high in the back, but the panel on maternity pants covers them anyway.

Have also heard rave reviews of these:

  • Cotton hipster/boy short type panties are what's most comfortable for me; they don't ride up and though they sit right below my belly, I don't feel them. These in particular are super comfy- https://www.thymematernity.com/Hipster-Maternity-Panty/637008,default,pd.html?dwvar_637008_color=White&cgid=TM-Maternity-Clothing-Bras-Lingerie&start=21

I am not a thong wearer, but I have definitely seen maternity thongs so I don't see why you couldn't wear those or your regular ones!

I would think unless you're one of the lucky ones that ends up with super awesome hemorrhoids that they would be fine as long as you're comfortable in them.
