So, I'm back again.

I intro-ed a month ago I think, and then the shit hit the fan and I've been rushed off of my feet and haven't posted since then, so I thought I'd do a quick update before I started posting again.

Catalina was horrendous in full-day daycare. In one week she attacked a classmate, ran away twice, tried to run away another three times and screamed so much she had to be sent home twice. But the best friend of my ex-wife is a stay at home mom, whose two kids both go to half-day daycare with Cata, so she offered to look after her too from when half-day daycare finishes to when I can come and get her after work, and since Cata already knows her really well, she's been really enjoying that so far, plus it also means I can see more of her because it's less distance from my work than day-care was.

But I've made the decision to move back to Rome. It's where I grew up, and my family all still live there, and Catalina's maternal grandparents are moving back to Verona anyway, so it will mean that Catalina will group up around all of her surviving family. It's a move I had been thinking about making since XW died, but I didn't want to go whilst her parents were here, but since they are going anyway, I'm pleased we can go. I've been offered a job by an old school friend, which isn't what I really want to do, but I'd rather do that than be here waiting for a job I really want. Plus I know it'll be easier to get a job when I'm over there.

So that's what been happening with Catalina and I. What have you guys been doing?

I hope your move goes well! Im sorry to hear full time daycare was a bust!

Me and my little man stay busy im in school full time and when im not in school im busy being mommy.

Btw im jealous your from italy, ive always wanted to visit there

Welcome back, I remember your intro, that was so sad. How old is your daughter again? I'm so happy to hear she's been doing better with the half day daycare, do you think maybe your XW's best friend's kids might have been a trigger for her behavior? Was it after they left that she would become aggressive?

And the transition to Rome sounds like that might be a little bit of a hurdle for her at first. So, good luck! And that's awesome that she'll have all the family around to help with that!

DD is going to be celebrating her 1st birthday in 11 days! I'm so sad my baby is growing up so fast! She's starting to stand on her own and is so close to walking ( I miss my little bundle of happy. I mean, she's still happy, but she's mobile and tires me out so much, lol!

@Roxalot little man over here must never meet harley they would team up and destroy us. He is exhauasting. I can not keep him out of the doga food and water

@MinnesotaMomma91 What is it that you study? And Italy is great, I have to say.
@Roxalot It's so scary when they start to walk! I wasn't there when Catalina walked for the first time, but I remember when I first saw her walk I almost cried.

Catalina is 2, she'll be 3 in September. I'm sure it will be a big thing for her, but I'd rather move her now that once she's at school, when she's already used to learning in English, though I'm going to try and make sure she is still trilingual. And she was only aggressive once, towards this one kid who kept on calling her a mommy's girl, so although I obviously don't condone violence under any circumstances, I understand why she did it. He was sent home for it as well.

@Juans im studying cosmetology, so id love to go to milan/rome just for the hair shows plus they are major fashion capitals where the trends for hair and make up come from. Also food, i fucking love food.

I also understand why your dd did what she did. Some things are better off just not being said

It's great that you have the opportunity to move back near family!  I'm sure it will be nice to have a support system, and your daughter will probably be happy to be near family.  Good luck!

I'm glad to hear that things are on the upswing for you. I too remember your intro.
My oldest is 3.5 and my youngest will be 2 in sept. I had to take the oldest out of a 3 day 2 hour preschool he loved and put my kids in a 3 day full day daycare. First time for the little one too. He bit 1 teacher and maybe 3 other kids...he was never aggressive. It was hard for them. My stbxh and I split but it turned so ugly I got a permanent restraining order against him and now his visitation is very limited. It's been hard because I am now looking for a full time job (was only part time) and am trying to keep us stable while waiting for court on the divorce. We have yet to see a judge and it has been 4 months. The restraining order took over all!
Being around family is wonderful and I think your little girl will adjust. Being surrounded by all of that love and family will only help her and you with your healing.
I love Rome. Can't wait to go back.

@juans it was terrifying when she began crawling! My stomach is in knots thinking of all the trouble she's going to get into when she starts walking!
