  • I'm planning a stir fry for dinner. I'm pretty sure I can make it and put it in Tupperware and transport it pretty easily. I just bought the veggies for dinner this week and I'm going to take a little from each and mix it together. Hopefully it's good. And hopefully my kids eat it.

  • Reduced Fat peanut butter doesn't even cut it.  The consistency of it is weird.

Also, someone tell me what the big deal is about Mega M&Ms.  Were people really needing a giant M&M?  Am I missing something?

I went to Bath and Body on lunch. They are having their big semi-annual sale and I needed room refresheners, soap and DH needed some body wash. I spent $50 buying all the things and saved $80. Win in my book. DH probably won't see it that way.
I was planning on hitting this up after work.  I love their 3 wick candles.
I love those too but I have SO many candles to use up I couldn't get anymore. I got some body wash for him for $2.50 and a ton of hand soap, $3! You can't beat it. The air fresheners were  $3 which isn't terrible. I made a dent and my bag is so heavy. I had a $10 off $40 too so that helped.

  • Also, I just went to the bathroom and put 4 of my fingers through the waistband of my underwear. Now I'm going ton online shop and buy new ones.  Sigh.  Here I've been doing so good saving money.

  • Went grocery shopping today and blew my budget.  I am terrible at this.  I meal plan and make a list.  My budget is higher than most people's budget too.  I should only bring the cash I want to spend to the store and leave my wallet home.

Same here.  I make a list, I really try to stick to it, and yet I feel like I still spend waaaay too much and waaay too often at the grocery store!

  • I just went to Target for like 4 things and came out with tons more.  (story of every Target shoppers life) I found 3 sweaters and 2 tanks for this fall all for 5.98 a piece!   I would have decided on a maxi skirt too but oddly enough they were out of mediums in nearly EVERY skirt.  I consider that the universe telling me "not today".  THEN I completely forgot that we needed bread.  Whoops.  Oh and Vanilla Cupcake Goldfish are amazing.  My day started like crap but it's looking up now.  :)

I've been holding off on buying the uniforms that Maya needs for pre-school on the off chance that we actually sell our house and move before September.

The Children's Place sale was finally too tempting and I bought some things.  I will be screwed if we actually move, but I got 2 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, 3 dresses and a skirt for $49!
  • I haven't gotten a text from DH if he is working late or not.  If he is, this will be the 5th week in a row and I may cry.

does your store have the scanner that you can do it all yourself as you shop? We have a very strict budget and this helps me see where I'm at, and also, 4.99 does not need to be spent on Oreos.

I bought DS 7 shirts and 2 pairs of sunglasses from there last week. $27! I ordered again today to get a sweatshirt I wanted for him for his birthday (GB Packers) and it was $20. Craziness.

If I go to stop and shop, yes.  I kinda hate using it though. I'm not good with shopping with the baby.  I don't know, I can multitask at work like no ones business but shop and keep G entertained and it is hard for me.  I can definitely try. I also try to not go to stop and shop since it is more expensive.  I don't buy cookies or anything.  Maybe ice cream. None of that this week.  So I don't know. I need to use better what I have in the pantry and freezer and stick to my list and budget.
  • Oh thank goodness. It may be 5:16, but both kids are down for a nap. I'll regret it at bed time, but I was past done with the overtired 5 year old. He still really needs a nap to not be a little snot. Now I can finish watching the Tony's. I-)

  • Colby cried the entire ride out to SD's school, cried through the entire performance (I took him outside so I didn't disrupt everyone, but I missed the show) and cried the entire way home. He is now in his crib pitching a fit and I'm stuffing my face with cookies.
