I loved it!! I can't speak for the littles in the audience but no one in the theater was wailing. There are intense fight scenes though.

Yes. IMO

I was surprised it was PG and not PG13. There was no swearing or anything but it was pretty dark'ish for lack of better words. Really good though (for the right age)

Probably because they were scared shitless  (kidding) but for real with the GoT fight scenes.

Honestly I have no clue if it'll still be out. I didn't really know anything about the movie (or when it came out) A friend had an extra ticket and asked me to go, seeing as the theater serves alcohol, how could I say no  

If it's not out in theaters next month, hopefully it'll be a quick release to rent.

I'm not a Jolie fan either but I thought she did a pretty good job.

I wasn't sold on Jolie's anguish when Maleficent realized she was betrayed. The whimpering was actually kinda funny to me. The last scream was good though.

I really didn't like the guy playing Stefan. That voice! Who could fall in love with that whiny cracking voice?! And maybe I'd care if he wasn't so thoroughly corrupted. Maybe if he had shades of gray too the climax would have been more impactful. I just kept wondering how she changed into Cat Woman's outfit during the fight scene!

My Dh, who is a movie snob, saw it with Ds and said it was decent. Ds liked it and said it was "spooky" but hasn't brought it up since, so I guess it didn't scare him!
