Do you have any weekend things you do during the summer on a regular basis?

We swim and garden pretty much every weekend during the summer. I love it! We also grill out a lot.

Not really? H is off during the week now, so tues/weds is our weekend, and we've been slacking on the "doing stuff" I need to put more effort into it, she's old enough now to realize we could be doing other things besides sitting in the house all the time. Ooops.

Not really. We grill and swim pretty much all summer. We go to the drive-in movie sometimes. We're pretty boring!

We garden and do yard work every weekend. We also typically go for a walk/hike together. My family (me, DD, my brother and his son, and my other brother) gets together at my mom and dad's house on most saturdays so that the kids can play and we can decompress. We usually swim one afternoon.

Nothing specific. We usually do something Saturday, there's always something downtown, or a festival or a farmers market or something! Sundays we either chill at home or go to my in laws house for lunch and swimming (mmmmm, MILs southern cooking....Drool)

We try and go to waterparks or play in baby pool each weekend, Jason blew up the grill last November- so sadly no grilling yet I think he is hoping I am going to get him a grill for Father's Day- but I do not have the money for that. Sigh. Stupid IF

Lmbo, we had to turn off gas to our house bc we had a leak, so we were using the grill to cook everything since it is still so nice on November. I still don't have the real what happened- but I heard a WHOOSH BOOM CRASH and a second later he was running in kitchen to get fire extinguisher and back out the door. And that was it. He claims it was just too old (4 or 5 years I didn't know that was old?) and falling apart and just gave out.

We try to do a family activity every weekend. Sometimes going to a museum, a zoo, local function, etc 

And Sundays, we go to church and most times go swimming, or grill or for a hike or walk. We're trying to do an educational (fun) thing and a low key family thing. So far so good, but when the temps get really hot, we're going to have to get more creative.

Our current obsession is water balloons.  My (almost) 6 year old has learned how to tie them herself so now I have brought myself a fun activity for the kids and I don't have to tie all of their balloons!  I also really want to attempt to make this balloon water pillow thing I saw on pinterest!

We have 3 grills. 2 gas grills and a charcoal grill. Come get one, please!

We don't have any regular weekend activities in the summer.  But our weekends do tend to fill up fast.  I know DH looks forward to grilling more and we got a blow-up pool for the first time last summer that is my new favorite thing.

We go to the beach. I feel pretty lucky that we live in a place that has a beach, so I try not to take it for granted. We have been trying out some of the "dog" beaches in our area and have found a couple that allow us to enjoy the beach, the dog, and the water. DD loves anything water, so the beach is high on the priority list.
