Diono Radian RXT in a Nissan Rogue?

I searched the forums, online, my car manual, diono's manual, and can't find an answer to my question. I have the Diono Radian RXT convertible carseat, and a 2009 Nissan Rogue. The carseat has a base that is supposed to slide into the cars seat bight, which is the crack between the seat back and bottom of the seat. The only problem is, my rogue has a 2" bump above the bottom seat before the seat bight, so the carseat is tipped back too far and wiggles a lot, no matter how hard I try to tighten it. Is this carseat just not a good fit for a Rogue? Have any of you had experience getting it to fit snugly, according to the carseat manual's directions? I know there is an angle adjuster i can buy separately for $50 but for that I would rather just get a different carseat... and I really like this one...

  • I will add that, I know a little bit of wiggling is OK as long as it moves less than 1".

OK, I clearly did not do my research on the angle adjuster. lol. Thanks ladies! I don't know if it will fix my problem, but I could try it. I am going to try giving diono a call when they are open to see if it will still be safe with the higher bight. I spent hours yesterday reading manuals, trying to find a video or article, and I can't find anything. Anyway. I appreciate your input!
edit: Oh, and about the wiggling, yes, I know the 1" rule! :) It's literally all over the place. Like at least 5-6" each way... Maybe I am just not strong enough to push it down to make the belt tighter. I'm thinking of making a stop to a fire station to see if they can make it tighter.
