Anyone going to watch? The horse that is going for the Triple Crown is from my hometown. Kinda cool. Hoping he can pull it off!

    I agree @littlejerry, but he did have a point...but it's all part of racing. He knew he would be facing fresh horses, its how the race series works. Sad day for Chrome, but wish his owner wouldn't have been such a sore loser.

    DH wrote a story on the whole thing so he's told me a bunch about it. Nothing has changed, the stuff he's complaining about has always happened. And it's not like every would be triple crown winner was beaten by a "fresh" horse. Some have been, some not. Plus, California Chrome came in fourth. It's not like it was head to head with that one horse. That guy is such a sore loser, he should be embarrassed!

    I was at a bar watching it. All of us drunks thought the 11 horse was Chrome and we thought he had barely won. It was really exciting for about a minute until they did the replay and we realized he was actually fourth. Not sure how 11 looks like 2? I blame the booze.

    I agree about the owner being a sore loser. If you're just going to be crappy just don't even give an interview and save yourself the embarrassment.
