Ha! His name is Stu and he's quite popular on my sister's Facebook as well. He's a big sissy, and the picture is of him hiding in the bathtub because he smelled smoke from us grilling.  We call him Fire Marshall Stu.

He is also PETRIFIED of fireworks, so the 4th of July is the worst day of his life. Every year.

My dogs are awful with fireworks too. And thunder. We are going to confine my dog to the kitchen I think this July 4th when we got out because he always gets so worked up that he poops. Awesome.

We even have a Thundershirt for him.  It doesn't make a difference; he still hides and quakes like an aspen for hours- even if they're way off in the distance.

I feel so bad for neurotic dogs.  They just don't understand the world around them.

My husky was terrified of fireworks. We baby gated her into the kitchen one 4th. She ate through the door frame to knock the baby gate loose. Next time we put her in the bedroom and she ripped up the carpet trying to get out the door. It must have been terrifying for her, and so frustrating for us!

They're both rescues and they're both nuts. Honestly, my child is easier to deal with. For now.

This. P was a fairy for Halloween (which, UO- I typically think it's ridiculous to spend money on dressing up infants for one day), but it was when she was like 2 months adjusted, so it was time for a change.

Ah, yes. I get so confused when people change their avatars. I'm strictly mobile so I don't see siggies. Avatars are all I've got.

Same; I'm usually mobile. But I took the day off work today, so I'm actually on my laptop. Amazing. So much easier to comment too!
