I've been a lurker for a while, and introduced myself maybe a year ago. We're in the process of DIA, and are very excited.
This board is really amazing, you all are so supportive!
Just posting a bit of frustration today : ( Our adoption process has taken a while, about 18 months from the time we initially inquired, but we had our home study in April and finally finished our photo albums and letter this week. I dropped them off at our social worker's office on Tuesday. I was so excited because this was the very last step before entering the waiting pool! Then she looked through our chart and realized that DH and my physicals are from May 2013, so we have to update them. So, we're off to the doctor next week to get those updated. I know in the grand scheme of things it's really not a big deal, but we were so excited to finally be done. It always seems like it's just one more thing to do, you know? Our family is excited and they keep asking for updates and we always have to tell them "Oh we're still working on X, or They had to reschedule our homestudy because of the weather". Something always seems to come up. Anyway, thanks for letting me vent here : )
